On December 18, 2011 23-year-old Phoenix Coldon vanished from her family's driveway in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Her black 1998 Chevy Blazer was found abandoned just hours later in East St. Louis, Illinois, with the engine running and her personal belongings inside.

Who Was Phoenix Coldon?

Phoenix Lucille Coldon was born in California in 1988 as Phoenix Reeves, taking her mother's maiden name. She was later adopted by her stepfather, Lawrence Coldon, and the family relocated to Missouri.

A gifted musician and athlete Phoenix was homeschooled and excelled in fencing, becoming a junior champion.

She was also deeply involved in her church community. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly attending the University of Missouri–St. Louis, though later investigations revealed she had withdrawn without informing her parents.
